The texture of artificial silk looks very similar to real silk, and it feels smooth, but the price is about 2/3 cheaper. Burn the edges of the wire material. If it is real silk, there is no open flame, and it smells like burning hair. Because silk contains protein, the burned silk turns into black particles, which can be crushed by hand; however, the imitation silk will catch fire when exposed to fire, and hard lumps will be left on the edge after the flame is turned off. In addition, imitation silk fabrics are reflective in appearance and relatively light in texture; silk has light-absorbing properties and looks smooth but not photogenic. The denser the silk thread, the higher the purity, the greater the silk density and the better the feel.

In terms of color, the color of real silk is not as bright as that of imitation silk, because the composition of real silk is light white, so it is not too exaggerated; imitation silk is not as good as real silk in terms of air permeability and hand feeling, but the washing requirements are high, it is easy to shrink and fade, and the price is higher than that of artificial silk.
